Dean Close Little Trees St Arvans Nursery are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Chepstow.

You will be required to collect the prepared healthy and nutritious lunch meals from the chef in Dean Close St Johns School and transport the food to the Nursery where you will be responsible for serving the food to our children. 

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the Nursery kitchen and other food preparation areas.

You will help to manage and maintain stocks of kitchen consumables and food provisions in line with nursery requirements.

To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery in accordance with Environmental Health Procedures

You must have a clean driving license and use of your own insured vehicle in order to collect the hot boxes in the morning, and then drop the boxes back to school at the end of the day. 

Working hours would be to start for 11am at the School, collecting the food, travel to the Nursery to serve and clear up after lunch, prepare tea for the afternoon, travel back to the School for 3pm finish to drop the hot boxes back off.
