Are you passionate about providing healthy and nutritional meals for children? Do you want to be part of a supportive, exciting, and rewarding team?

Dean Close Nurseries Ltd are looking for a nursery cook to join our team as we prepare to open our 7th Nursery, subject to Ofsted approval. Opening date is anticipated for February/March. 
Our new nursery will be located in Tewkesbury

Interviews will be conducted w/c 13th January 2025

You will either have experience of cooking for large groups of people or have gained a qualification in catering.

Duties will include:

  • Organise, cook and prepare a healthy balanced snacks, midday hot lunch & afternoon tea for children aged 3 months -5 years
  • To hold a Food Hygiene Level 2
  • Ordering of all food provisions
  • Keep accurate records of supplies and order replacements as needed within the nursery budget requirements.
  • Keep the kitchen a clean and safe environment for the children in our care
  • To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and food hygiene
  • Take responsibility to make sure all allergen and dietary requirements are catered for and clearly communicated to teams.
